How to use this tool

  1. Enter the workshop, customer, contact, vehicle and record date. Add a reference and optional registration plate, VIN or mileage when useful.
  2. Write one requested task per line. Describe reported symptoms and the work you want discussed; use separate notes for a requested date or existing price agreement.
  3. Generate the draft, review both tables and download PDF or Word. Check the scope and any agreements with the parties before using or signing the document.

Check the built-in example

The fictional example records Example Workshop and customer Alex Example with a vehicle mileage of 85000 km. Reference DEMO-WO-001 is dated 2026-11-03, with 2026-11-06 entered as a requested completion date. Its three items ask for a starting-problem check, a tyre inspection with findings and contact before additional work. Both exports include all three numbered tasks on a separate work-list section. The example price note asks to discuss an estimate; no amount, tax or total is calculated.

The fictional order DEMO-WO-001 records 85000 kilometres and three requested tasks, exported as an unsigned PDF and editable Word draft.

Processing method

The form checks the required text fields, calendar dates, task count and optional whole-kilometre mileage. It builds a details table and a numbered work table directly from your entries. The PDF uses an embedded font and page numbers, while Word keeps the two tables editable. No repair diagnosis or service schedule is inferred from the vehicle description. ADAC describes why recording requested work and dates matters; the linked guidance supplies context, rather than certification of this particular template.

What the result leaves out

Use between one and 100 task lines, each at most 300 characters. Text fields allow up to 1000 characters and 30 lines. Optional mileage accepts zero through 9999999 whole kilometres without checking the vehicle history. A requested date does not mean that the workshop accepted it. A price note is copied as text and creates no automatic estimate, invoice or price guarantee. The tool adds no contractual conditions and cannot check whether the form covers your circumstances. Review the editable document and attach any separate agreements you need.

Checking local processing

Customer contacts and vehicle identifiers stay in this browser during generation. There is no account, document upload or public result link. PDF and Word downloads contain the information you entered, so review them before sharing. The application does not retain a saved order; keep your downloaded copy if you need a record.

Common questions

Does the PDF confirm that the workshop accepted my order?

No. It records your entries as an unsigned working draft. Discuss and confirm the details directly with the workshop.

Can I enter an agreed price?

Yes, as a plain-text price or estimate note. The form does not calculate costs, VAT or a payable amount.

Why are there PDF and Word downloads?

PDF is convenient for review and printing. Word lets you edit the details and work list before preparing the final document.
